TAURASI
“TAURASI” is a docu-series that follows Diana Taurasi, one of the greatest basketball players of all time, through her career as a player as she faces the reality of her impending retirement from the sport that has consumed her life. The series depicts Taurasi exactly as she is, brash, raw, unfiltered. Throughout the three episodes, we experience Diana as a player, a daughter, a sister, a wife and a mother. We come to find that her life is not defined by basketball, but instead, by who she is to the people she loves. All three parts premiered on Amazon Prime on August 7th, 2025.
Story Producer & Associate Producer
As Story Producer, I worked very closely with both the directorial and editorial teams as we structured and built out the story arc for the overall series, as well as the arcs for each individual character. The majority of my work was working in Avid to string out thematic sequences to support each story beat, character journey and the overall structure of each episode. My responsibilities also included watching down and selecting pertinent archival material to create scenes. Additionally, I helped write interview questions and prepare the director for interviews. My experience in the world of women’s basketball was an invaluable asset to our team as we attempted to tell Diana’s story in the context of the sport and league she was a part of - including how she changed the game completely.
